Buon Compleanno, Ufficio Zero Linux OS!
Tre anni insieme ai nostri utenti e tante aspettative.

Il 15 Aprile del 2020 risorgeva dalle ceneri il progetto made in Italy, voluto dal suo patron, Julian Del Vecchio, e dall'azienda che dirige, SIITE SRLS, con base nel lodigiano.
Insieme ad altri due volontari, Riccardo Leguti ed Adriano Morselli, si è partiti da una versione poco curata per arrivare oggi, ad avere svariate release curate, stabili, flessibili, aggiornate e complete anche di un repository aggiuntivo per i driver delle varie stampanti.
I passi fatti, grazie anche al supporto di altri volontari che hanno affiancato lo staff per un breve periodo, hanno dimostrato il vero potenziale del progetto che continua a portare avanti versioni sia a 32 che 64bit.
Pensiamo che con qualsiasi hardware si ha si può lavorare bene, se si installa una delle nostre release, tanto che molti nostri utenti gradiscono anche le versioni a 32bit, cercando di riciclare ed ottimizzare l'hardware a propria disposizione.
Vogliamo ringraziare i nostri utenti che continuano ad utilizzare ed apprezzare i nostri sistemi e dedicare loro il video postato di seguito.
On April 15, 2020, the project made in Italy and wanted by its patron, Julian Del Vecchio, and by the company he manages, SIITE SRLS, based in the Lodi area, rose from the ashes.
Together with two other volunteers, Riccardo Leguti and Adriano Morselli, We started from a poorly maintained version to arrive today, to have various well-kept, stable, flexible, updated and complete releases also with an additional repository for the drivers of various printers.
The steps taken, thanks also to the support of other volunteers who have joined the staff for a short period, have demonstrated the true potential of the project, which continues to carry forward both 32 and 64bit versions.
We think that whatever hardware you have, you can work well if you install one of our releases, so much so that many of our users also like the 32bit versions, trying to recycle and optimize the hardware at their disposal.
We want to thank our users, who continue to use and appreciate our systems and dedicate to them the video posted below.

Mantova 2.0.3 upgrade
Alcuni giorni fà abbiamo rilasciato la nuova versione Mantova 2.0.3 con un salto di 1 minor release, poichè gli aggiornamenti sono stati numerosi.
La nuova versione contiene:
- tutto il parco software della precedente Mantova 2.0.1 (anche applicazioni non open source) aggiornato al 22 gennaio 2021
- i nostri repository remoti aggiuntivi
- un nuovo tema grafico Qogir (adottato anche nelle altre versioni)
- nuovi pacchetti proposti e denominati task attraverso i quali è possibile installare software open source
- un software aggiuntivo GanttProject
- migliorie e cambiamenti tecnici al Centro di Controllo ma anche l'eliminazione del simple-update e l'utilizzo invece di update-icon-notifier
Nell'attesa però di preparare le note di rilascio ed un video per la nuova versione, abbiamo pubblicato sulla wiki la procedura per effettuare l'upgrade alla versione 2.0.3
Inoltre è presente sul nostro canale LBRY.tv anche un breve video relativo a tale aggiornamento.

Il Linux Day 2024 torna a Brescia il 26 Ottobre 2024
Ebbene si! Siamo stati contattati da Vincenzo, uno dei sostenitori del Linux User Group, che si divide tra la zona di Mantova e Brescia, e siamo entusiasti di comunicare ai nostri utenti che abbiamo formalmente avanzato la nostra richiesta per un talk di 20 minuti, dove ovviamente introdurremo il progetto Ufficio Zero Linux OS (per il poco tempo a disposizione) e risponderemo a vostre eventuali domande.
Abbiamo mosso quindi uno step aggiuntivo per far conoscere le nostre release e perchè no, anche noi stessi, a tutti coloro che volessero parteciparvi.
Siamo onorati della richiesta dei volontari del LUG di Gottolengo (BS) e vi aggiorneremo sulla conferma dell'evento e del luogo, anche attraverso i nostri social.

Well yes! We were contacted by Vincenzo, one of the supporters of the Linux User Group, which is divided between the Mantua and Brescia areas, and we are excited to communicate to our users that we have formally submitted our request for a 20-minute talk, where we will obviously introduce the Ufficio Zero Linux OS project (due to the limited time available) and answer any questions you may have.
We have therefore taken an additional step to make our releases known and, why not, ourselves, to all those who would like to participate.

Aruba Sign: driver di terze parti per le versioni Vieste e Tropea
Il nostro team ha deciso di integrare l'installer Aruba Sign presente sulle nostre distribuzioni con driver di terze parti presenti sul sito di Aruba SpA per la firma digitale per le versioni Ufficio Zero Vieste e Ufficio Zero Tropea, entrambe per processori a 64bit.
Sui rispettivi repository quindi è possibile trovare i seguenti pacchetti opzionali ed installabili:
- Driver smart/sim card per il produttore Athena: mediante synaptic o console installare i pacchetti idprotectclient_633.02-0_amd64.deb e idprotectclientlib_633.00-0_amd64.deb
- Driver smart/sim card per i produttori Incard e Oberthur: mediante synaptic o console installare il pacchetto mulinux_1.0_amd64.deb
- Driver lettori: mediante synaptic o console installare il pacchetto libminilector38u-ccid-bit4id_1.0.0_all.deb
Naturalmente il software in questione è stato prelevato dal sito sopra indicato, per cui non ci assumiamo alcuna responsabilità sul corretto funzionamento di tali pacchetti.
