La release 10 sta raggiungendo la fine del supporto a Luglio 2024, sebbene riceverà aggiornamenti di sicurezza per tutto il 2025.

A fronte di questo, stiamo già lavorando sulla release 10Plus che assicurerà l'estensione del supporto fino al 2027.

Appena avremo terminato di sviluppare la 10Plus, gli utenti che hanno installato la release 10 (32/64 bit) sui loro pc potranno utilizzare il tool di upgrade seguendo una piccola procedura che renderemo disponibile su YouTube & Odysee, in modo tale da avere altri 3 anni di aggiornamenti, seguendo alcuni semplici passaggi.

Release 10 will reach the end of support in July 2024, although security updates will ensure support until 2025.

In Light of this, we are already working on the 10Plus release which will ensure support extension until 2027.

Once we have finished developing 10Plus, users who have installed release 10 (32/64 bit) on their pcs will be able to use the upgrade tool by following a small procedure that we will make available on YouTube & Odysee, so that they will be able to take advantage of another 3 years of updates, following a few simple steps.

Il team di Ufficio Zero Linux OS dà il suo benvenuto a FastMirror, mirror aggiuntivo localizzato a Kiev in Ucraina, che da oggi si aggiunge alla nutrita lista di quelli già in uso.

Il vostro sistema proporrà alcuni aggiornamenti che aggiungeranno quindi un altro mirror, oltre a quelli già in uso.

FastMirror è importante perchè ci permette di usare un'altra risorsa aggiuntiva non solo per il download delle iso mediante torrent (essendo a tutti gli effetti un peer) ma anche in ottica di un'espansione di mirror che ci consentirà nel medio e lungo termine di ridefinire un sistema più rapido di aggiornamento dei singoli pc client in uso ai nostri utenti.

The Ufficio Zero Linux OS team welcomes FastMirror, an additional mirror located in Kyiv, Ukraine, which from today joins the large list of those already in use.

Your system will propose some updates which will then add another mirror, in addition to the ones already in use.

FastMirror is important because it allows us to use another additional resource not only for downloading the ISO via torrent (being in effect a peer) but also with a view to expanding mirrors which will allow us in the medium and long term to redefine a faster system for updating the individual client PCs used by our users.

Alcuni giorni fà abbiamo rilasciato la nuova versione Mantova 2.0.3 con un salto di 1 minor release, poichè gli aggiornamenti sono stati numerosi.

La nuova versione contiene:

• tutto il parco software della precedente Mantova 2.0.1 (anche applicazioni non open source) aggiornato al 22 gennaio 2021
• i nostri repository remoti aggiuntivi
• un nuovo tema grafico Qogir (adottato anche nelle altre versioni)
• nuovi pacchetti proposti e denominati task attraverso i quali è possibile installare software open source
• un software aggiuntivo GanttProject
• migliorie e cambiamenti tecnici al Centro di Controllo ma anche l'eliminazione del simple-update e l'utilizzo invece di update-icon-notifier

Nell'attesa però di preparare le note di rilascio ed un video per la nuova versione, abbiamo pubblicato sulla wiki la procedura per effettuare l'upgrade alla versione 2.0.3
