Siamo lieti di segnalare alcune attività dell'Associazione 5R Zero Sprechi in programma Domenica 15 Settembre 2024 al Parco del Maglio - OME (BS).

In particolare allo Stand PC è possibile provare uno dei nostri sistemi operativi Ufficio Zero Linux OS.

In questo modo proverete il sistema Ufficio Zero Linux OS ma prima dovrete provvedere al backup dei vostri dati ed eventualmente potenziare l'hardware sostituitendo il disco fisso meccanico un disco ssd ed aumentare la ram (poichè i componenti non possono essere vendute e quindi restano a carico dell'utente).

Durante l'evento quindi potrete parlare e fissare appuntamenti per istruirvi nelle operazioni preliminari.

Abbiamo segnalato tale evento poichè l'obsolescenza programmata viene fortemente contrastata anche dal nostro team.

Ottime notizie per gli studenti e le scuole italiane: da oggi installando una delle release a 64bit tra la 10 Plus o la 11.1 potete usufruire di nuovi software ad uso scolastico tramite il nostro Postinstall.

Vi basterà aprire il Postinstall, andare nella macrocategoria School ed installare i software proposti con un semplice click.

Cosa offriamo alle scuole italiane?

Un pacchetto all in one che contiene il sistema operativo ed una suite di programmi installabili tutti in modo completamente gratuito, senza alcun costo di licenza. Poi tramite il Postinstall potrete anche installare il tool Veyon per l'usabilità di Ufficio Zero Linux OS nelle sale informatiche. I docenti potranno usare i pc degli studenti per mostrare loro lezioni, slide e quant'altro in simultanea su tutti le postazioni e tanto altro ancora.

Inoltre Ufficio Zero Linux OS è dotato della suite di Infomaniak (Kmail, Kcalendar, Kmeet, Kdrive, ed altro) che può essere installata sempre tramite il Postinstall recandosi nella macrocategoria Office. Ricordiamo che le singole utenze sono gratuite ma le scuole possono acquistare dei pacchetti per i docenti ed inoltre Infomaniak offre la possibilità agli studenti di richiedere gratuitamente l'hosting web da 250gb di spazio e la Ksuite gratuita fino a 10 utenti. Avete quindi la possibilità di sostituire la suite Google con una rispettosa della vostra privacy.

Cosa chiediamo?

Ufficio Zero Linux OS contrasta da sempre l'obsolescenza hardware programmata, per cui se avete delle postazioni dotate di un sistema proprietario con licenza non originale, vi chiediamo di fare il salto a Linux e scegliere una delle nostre release tra la 10 Plus che ha un aspetto simile a Windows 10 o la 11.1 che ha un aspetto simile a Windows 11.

I nostri sistemi hanno il file autoinstallabile chiamato installWine per poter installare il tool WineHQ ed utilizzare anche software che funzionano su sistemi operativi proprietari Windows.

Non utilizzate software piratato poichè potreste essere esposti a falle di sicurezza.

Ufficio Zero Linux OS è al fianco delle scuole italiane che possono risparmiare sulle licenze gestendo meglio le risorse che hanno a disposizione.

Great news for Italian students and schools: starting today, by installing one of the 64-bit releases between 10 Plus or 11.1, you can take advantage of new software for school use through our Postinstall. What do we ask?

Ufficio Zero Linux OS has always fought against programmed hardware obsolescence, so if you have workstations equipped with a proprietary system with a non-original license, we ask you to make the leap to Linux and choose one of our releases between 10 Plus which has a similar appearance to Windows 10 or 11.1 which has a similar appearance to Windows 11.

Our systems have the self-installable file called installWine to be able to install the WineHQ tool and also use software that runs on proprietary Windows operating systems.

Do not use pirated software as you could be exposed to security flaws.

Ufficio Zero Linux OS is alongside Italian schools that can save on licenses by better managing the resources they have available.

Il rilascio di nala sulle release 11.x (32/64 bit) è avvenuto alcuni giorni fà, per mezzo dei nostri ultimi aggiornamenti di sistema, pertanto gli utenti che hanno mantenuto il sistema aggiornato, avranno oltre ad Apt anche Nala.

Naturalmente Nala può essere usato come alternativa, ma è comunque consigliato l'utilizzo ad utenti esperti e che sanno quindi come utilizzarlo o ne conoscono i benefici.

Perchè lo abbiamo introdotto? Tendiamo, in via generale, ad estendere la vita delle nostre release più utilizzate, creando pacchetti di aggiornamento massicci (che scaricano ed installano nell'ordine più di 1 Gb di pacchetti) e non vogliamo annoiare i nostri utenti che hanno hardware poco prestante e che quindi devono restare incollati allo schermo per rispondere alle domande richieste.

Ce ne siamo resi conto con gli ultimi pacchetti di aggiornamento che estenderanno il supporto della release 10 Basic (32/64bit) di altri 3 anni con il salto di versione alla release 10 Plus, attualmente in fase di sviluppo.

Ormai i continui salti di versione, a nostro parere, non possono più essere eseguiti con Apt, il tool nativo usato nelle varie derivate Debian GNU/Linux, ma è preferibile adottare Nala per i suoi tanti vantaggi, tra cui la rapidità rispetto ad Apt con cui esegue download ed installazione di pacchetti.

In che modo lo useremo? Abbiamo quindi pensato di rilasciarlo sulle release 11.x e sulle 10 Plus in modo da poter rilasciare i prossimi pacchetti di upgrade di versione direttamente con i comandi nala, riducendo di fatto le tempistiche necessarie al salto di versione.

Nala was released on 11.x releases (32/64 bit) a few days ago, with our latest system updates, so users who have kept their system up to date will have Nala in addition to Apt.

Of course Nala can be used as an alternative, but it is still recommended for experienced users who know how to use it or know its benefits.

Why did we introduce it? We tend, in general, to extend the life of our most used releases, creating massive update packages (which download and install more than 1 Gb of packages in order) and do not want to bore our users who have low-performance hardware and therefore have to stay glued to the screen to answer the questions asked.

We realized this with the latest update packages that will extend the support of the 10 Basic release (32/64 bit) for another 3 years with the jump in version to the 10 Plus release, currently under development.

By now, in our opinion, continuous version jumps can no longer be performed with Apt, the native tool used in the various Debian GNU/Linux derivatives, but it is preferable to adopt Nala for its many advantages, including the speed with which it performs downloads and installations of packages compared to Apt.

How will we use it? We have therefore decided to release it on the 11.x and 10 Plus releases so that we can release the next version upgrade packages directly with the nala commands, effectively reducing the time needed for the version jump.
