In questo periodo di notevoli attacchi alle numerose istituzioni e realtà nazionali e non, abbiamo deciso di implementare sui nostri repository una soluzione firewall per sistemi desktop. Tale applicazione è disponibile sui repository delle release: Roma, Siena, Portofino, Vieste, Tropea ed Urbino.
Come installare il tool?
Semplice e rapido: vi basterà avviare il nostro postinstall presente nel menu delle applicazioni o cercandolo per digitazione della parola "postinstall", recarsi sulla macrocategoria "sicurezza" e selezionare i pacchetti desktop-firewall-it (per avere l'interfaccia grafica in lingua italiana) o desktop-firewall-en (interfaccia grafica in lingua inglese) e proseguire con l'installazione. Al termine dell'installazione vi basterà riavviare il vostro pc per avere OpenSnitch perfettamente funzionante.

How to install the tool?

Yandex si aggiunge alla lista dei nostri mirror
Yandex, il competitor dell'est di Google, si aggiunge alla lista dei nostri mirror per tutte le nostre release.
Per il nostro progetto è importante avere quante più risorse tecnologiche possibili, al fine di continuare a rilasciare i nostri aggiornamenti di sistema in modo quanto più rapido possibile.
Tutte le release riceveranno nelle prossime ore alcuni aggiornamenti di sistema che chiediamo ai nostri utenti di applicare per avere maggiore sicurezza e flessibilità in termini di banda di download dei vari aggiornamenti proposti.
Inoltre anche il download delle iso via torrent sarà più prestante, poichè utilizziamo Yandex in aggiunta agli altri mirror come veri e propri peer.
Ringraziamo quindi Yandex per il supporto fornito al progetto Ufficio Zero Linux OS.

For our project it is important to have as many technological resources as possible, in order to continue releasing our system updates as quickly as possible.
All releases will receive some system updates in the next few hours that we ask our users to apply to have greater security and flexibility in terms of download bandwidth of the various proposed updates.
Furthermore, downloading iso files via torrent will also be more efficient, since we use Yandex in addition to the other mirrors as real peers.
We therefore thank Yandex for the support provided to the Ufficio Zero Linux OS project.

Come aggiornare la vostra 10 Basic (32/64 bit) alla 10 Plus
Gli utilizzatori della versione 10 Basic (32/64 bit) sanno che entro pochi giorni terminerà il supporto al loro sistema seppur gli aggiornamenti di sicurezza sono garantiti fino a Dicembre 2025.
Proprio a tal proposito, stiamo lavorando alla release 10 Plus ma chi usa già la versione 10 Basic può effettuare l'upgrade alla 10 Plus, sempre dopo aver effettuato una copia di backup dei dati personali.
Nel video che trovate di seguito potete vedere come effettuare la procedura di upgrade ed inoltre potete trovare a questo link una procedura di upgrade con immagini e passaggi importanti da seguire.
Users of the 10 Basic version (32/64 bit) know that within a few days the support for their system will end even though security updates are guaranteed until December 2025.

Sei un contribuente della zona Euro e vuoi che il denaro pubblico sia ben investito per i software della Pubblica Amministrazione?
La Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) ed altre organizzazioni stanno promuovendo questa campagna/petizione per rendere il codice degli applicativi acquistati dalle Pubbliche Amministrazioni libero e con licenze aperte per poter essere all'occorrenza corretto, implementato e riusato da chiunque volesse.
Firma anche tu la petizione, a te non costa nulla, ma puoi partecipare con un piccolo gesto e sensibilizzare anche altri tuoi conoscenti, amici, collaboratori e colleghi verso un futuro molto più sostenibile e sicuro.
