Il problema principale di ogni release linux è rappresentato dalla mancanza di driver per le stampanti e le multifunzioni, ma anche dalla difficoltà di installazione degli stessi.

Da alcuni giorni abbiamo implementato un nuovo repository di pacchetti deb che contiene la maggior parte dei driver di stampanti e multifunzioni in commercio.

Questo nuovo repository è stato già implementato in aggiunta su ogni release che utilizza pacchetti deb e quindi sulle release 10 Basic, Tropea, Urbino, Portofino e Vieste.

Se dovessero mancare alcuni driver potete inviarci una richiesta alla mail dev[at]ufficiozero.org e cercheremo di rilasciare il driver della vostra stampante.

The main problem of every linux release is represented by the lack of drivers for printers and multifunctions, but also by the difficulty of installing them.

For some days we have implemented a new deb package repository that contains most of the printer and multifunction drivers on the market.

This new repository has already been implemented in addition on each release that uses deb packages and therefore on the 10 Basic, Tropea, Urbino, Portofino and Vieste releases.

If some drivers are missing, you can send us a request to dev[at]ufficiozero.org and we will try to release the driver for your printer.

Gli utilizzatori della versione 10 Basic (32/64 bit) sanno che entro pochi giorni terminerà il supporto al loro sistema seppur gli aggiornamenti di sicurezza sono garantiti fino a Dicembre 2025.

Proprio a tal proposito, stiamo lavorando alla release 10 Plus ma chi usa già la versione 10 Basic può effettuare l'upgrade alla 10 Plus, sempre dopo aver effettuato una copia di backup dei dati personali.

Users of the 10 Basic version (32/64 bit) know that within a few days the support for their system will end even though security updates are guaranteed until December 2025.

Precisely in this regard, we are working on the 10 Plus release but those who already use the 10 Basic version can upgrade to 10 Plus, always after having made a backup copy of their personal data.

La release 10 sta raggiungendo la fine del supporto a Luglio 2024, sebbene riceverà aggiornamenti di sicurezza per tutto il 2025.

A fronte di questo, stiamo già lavorando sulla release 10Plus che assicurerà l'estensione del supporto fino al 2027.

Appena avremo terminato di sviluppare la 10Plus, gli utenti che hanno installato la release 10 (32/64 bit) sui loro pc potranno utilizzare il tool di upgrade seguendo una piccola procedura che renderemo disponibile su YouTube & Odysee, in modo tale da avere altri 3 anni di aggiornamenti, seguendo alcuni semplici passaggi.

Release 10 will reach the end of support in July 2024, although security updates will ensure support until 2025.

In Light of this, we are already working on the 10Plus release which will ensure support extension until 2027.

Once we have finished developing 10Plus, users who have installed release 10 (32/64 bit) on their pcs will be able to use the upgrade tool by following a small procedure that we will make available on YouTube & Odysee, so that they will be able to take advantage of another 3 years of updates, following a few simple steps.
