Alcuni giorni fa abbiamo rilasciato la versione Bergamo 3.0.1 che introduce le seguenti novità:

• tutto il parco software della precedente versione è stato aggiornato
• abbiamo introdotto il nostro nuovo repository remoto
• abbiamo ricreato i pacchetti rpm del tema grafico Qogir in uso
• i nostri task attraverso i quali installare software open sorce proposto da noi sono presenti sul nostro repository
• abbiamo introdotto migliorie e cambiamenti tecnici al Centro di Controllo

Sulla wiki è presente una breve guida per l'aggiornamento visibile a questa pagina, ma abbiamo pubblicato anche un breve video.

In questo periodo di notevoli attacchi alle numerose istituzioni e realtà nazionali e non, abbiamo deciso di implementare sui nostri repository una soluzione firewall per sistemi desktop. Tale applicazione è disponibile sui repository delle release: Roma, Siena, Portofino, Vieste, Tropea ed Urbino.

Come installare il tool?

Semplice e rapido: vi basterà avviare il nostro postinstall presente nel menu delle applicazioni o cercandolo per digitazione della parola "postinstall", recarsi sulla macrocategoria "sicurezza" e selezionare i pacchetti desktop-firewall-it (per avere l'interfaccia grafica in lingua italiana) o desktop-firewall-en (interfaccia grafica in lingua inglese) e proseguire con l'installazione. Al termine dell'installazione vi basterà riavviare il vostro pc per avere OpenSnitch perfettamente funzionante.

Siamo stati contattati da Vincenzo, uno dei sostenitori del Linux User Group, che si divide tra la zona di Mantova e Brescia, e siamo entusiasti di comunicare ai nostri utenti che abbiamo formalmente avanzato la nostra richiesta per un talk di 20 minuti, dove ovviamente introdurremo il progetto Ufficio Zero Linux OS (per il poco tempo a disposizione) e risponderemo a vostre eventuali domande.

Abbiamo mosso quindi uno step aggiuntivo per far conoscere le nostre release e perchè no, anche noi stessi, a tutti coloro che volessero parteciparvi.

Siamo onorati della richiesta dei volontari del LUG di Gottolengo (BS) e vi aggiorneremo sulla conferma dell'evento e del luogo, anche attraverso i nostri social.

We were contacted by Vincenzo, one of the supporters of the Linux User Group, which is divided between the Mantua and Brescia areas, and we are excited to communicate to our users that we have formally submitted our request for a 20-minute talk, where we will obviously introduce the Ufficio Zero Linux OS project (due to the limited time available) and answer any questions you may have.
