Gli amanti della privacy potranno utilizzare da oggi i servizi KSuite (KMail, KMeet, KDrive, SwissTransfer ecc.) di Infomaniak, Software House Svizzera che osserva le policy GDPR del Regolamento UE 2016/679.

I loro servizi possono essere usati in alternativa a quelli Google e possono essere installati mediante il Postinstall dalla Categoria Office.

Tale implementazione sarà disponibile da subito sulle release 10.x ed 11.x mentre sulle restanti verrà implementata nei prossimi giorni.

Siamo certi di aver fatto cosa gradita ai nostri utenti che vogliono poter avere un'alternativa valida ai software G.

Ogni anno il team ricorda i vari compleanni del progetto per una sorta di memoria da come e dove sono partiti per ricordare quante migliorie, piccole e grandi, si sono susseguite dal 15 Aprile 2020.

Ad oggi il progetto vanta alcune novità che vedono la luce sulle release 10.x ed 11.x e che sono poi state implementate anche sulle altre release attive e supportate, quali: Tropea, Cagliari, Urbino e Portofino.

Come ogni anno, è fondamentale per il team non solo celebrare ogni traguardo, più o meno significativo, ma anche porsi obiettivi a medio e lungo termine, per assicurare ai nostri utenti: semplicità di utilizzo, tranquillità e il miglior supporto che è possibile dare loro, poichè vivendo in una realtà sempre più frenetica, i nostri utenti devono poter sapere che installando una delle nostre release non avranno mai sorprese spiacevoli.

Questo, il primo obiettivo del progetto Ufficio Zero Linux OS.

Every year the team remembers the various birthdays of the project for a sort of memory of how and where they started to remember how many improvements, small and large, have occurred since April 15, 2020.

This is the first objective of the Ufficio Zero Linux OS project.

PCLinuxOS, la distro base su cui è stata creata la nostra release Lorena, sta migrando dal gestore pacchetti Apt for rpm a Dnf, ragione per cui abbiamo creato dei nuovi mirror per offrirvi aggiornamenti del nostro sistema rolling.

Cosa comporta tale modifica? Il passaggio da mirror http a quelli http(s) ed un nuovo sistema di gestione ed installazione dei pacchetti rpm.

Quali operazioni deve fare chi utilizza la release Lorena? La procedura è breve ed abbastanza semplice ed è disponibile sulla nostra wiki.

Qual'è la data ultima per effettuare queste operazioni? Per un periodo di circa un mese, fino al giorno 9 Febbraio compreso, chi già utilizza Lorena può seguire questi passaggi in modo semplice. Dopo tale data sarà possibile invece reinstallare il sistema dalla nuova immagine di sistema che stiamo per creare.

Difatti, il giorno 10 Febbraio 2026 dismetteremo gli attuali e vecchi mirror per tenere attivi solo i nuovi, considerato che vogliamo ottimizzare le risorse.
