per abbracciare Mastodon e l'instanza italiana dei volontari Devol

Vi abbiamo abituati da tempo a continue sorprese e queste non finiscono qui!
Il 12 Febbraio elimineremo il nostro profilo sul social X / Twitter in favore di Mastodon e dell'istanza italiana di Mastodon.uno gestita dai collaboratori attivisti Devol.
Siamo certi che non sentiremo la mancanza di X, non sentiremo la mancanza di decisioni discusse quali quelle di voler eliminare gli hashtag o quelle già adottate di far pagare per la pubblicazione di notizie programmate per i creator di contenuti e poi i 500 caratteri messi a disposizone da Mastodon sono superiori rispetto ai 280 di X/Twitter.
Ovviamente la decisione è presa anche in base al numero di account che ci seguono su entrambe le piattaforme ma anche per vari motivi di natura etica.
Siamo convinti che un progetto Open Source debba essere legato ad altrettanti progetti della stessa natura.

We have long accustomed you to continuous surprises and these do not end here!
On February 12th we will eliminate our profile on the X / Twitter social network in favor of Mastodon and the Italian instance of Mastodon.uno managed by activist collaborators Devol.
We are certain that we will not miss X, we will not miss discussed decisions such as those of wanting to eliminate hashtags or those already adopted to charge for the publication of scheduled news for content creators and then the 500 characters made available by Mastodon are greater than the 280 of X / Twitter.
Obviously the decision is also taken based on the number of accounts that follow us on both platforms but also for various ethical reasons.
We are convinced that an Open Source project must be linked to as many projects of the same nature.
Our users who follow us on X / Twitter can do so by following us on Mastodon at this link or by looking for us on the new social network such as Ufficio Zero Linux OS. Or if you're lazy you can click on the Mastodon icon on the top bar of our social media on the main site.

Tropea 3.2 upgrade
Buone notizie per i nostri utenti: è disponibile il nuovo strumento per aggiornare la versione Tropea dalla 3.1 alla versione 3.2 di cui stiamo creando la nuova iso.
La versione Tropea 3.2 avrà i repository di base Linux Mint Uma oltre ai nostri in modo da seguirne lo stato di avanzamento in parallelo con il nostro progetto.
Gli utenti che dispongono delle versioni 3.1 o 3.1.1 possono utilizzare il gestore dei pacchetti Synaptic e ricercare il pacchetto "upgradeufficiozero", installarlo ed avviare il tool dal sottomenu Strumenti nel menu principale. Immettendo la password di root il sistema aggiornerà i repository di base insieme ad alcuni pacchetti.
Assicuratevi di avere i repository di base Mint Ulyssa prima di eseguire tale tool, poichè per le versioni Tropea 3.0 è necessario prima scaricare il precedente tool di upgrade da questo link, estrarlo ed installarlo con gdebi poichè il salto di versione dalla Ulyana a Uma non è contemplato ma se si parte dalla versione Tropea 3.0 bisogna eseguire il primo upgrade (ad Ulyssa) per poi eseguire il successivo (ad Uma).
Good news for our users: the new tool to upgrade Tropea version from 3.1 to version 3.2 of which we are creating the new iso, is available.
Tropea 3.2 version will have the basic Linux Mint Uma repositories in addition to ours in order to follow their progress in parallel with our project.
Users who have versions 3.1 or 3.1.1 can use the Synaptic package manager and search for the "upgradeufficiozero" package, install it and start the tool from the Tools submenu in the main menu. By entering the root password the system will update the base repositories along with some packages.
Make sure you have the basic Mint Ulyssa repositories before running this tool, as for Tropea 3.0 versions you must first download the previous upgrade tool from this link, extract it and install it with gdebi as the jump from Ulyana to Uma is not contemplated but if you start from the Tropea 3.0 version you have to perform the first upgrade (to Ulyssa) and then perform the next one (to Uma).

Nuovi repository globali
Per tutte le versioni attuali abbiamo rilasciato dei pacchetti di aggiornamento che aggiungono altri nuovi repository globali e che attivano il predefinito del Consortium Garr, in Italia.
Quando installate gli aggiornamenti proposti, ricordatevi di scegliere "sostituisci" quando richiesto, per poter utilizzare da subito i nuovi repository.
For all current versions We have released update packages that add other new global repositories and activate the Consortium Garr's one by default, in Italy.
When installing the proposed updates, remember to choose "replace" when prompted, in order to use the new repositories immediately.
