Ufficio Zero Linux OS compie 4 anni

Ogni anno il team ricorda i vari compleanni del progetto per una sorta di memoria da come e dove sono partiti per ricordare quante migliorie, piccole e grandi, si sono susseguite dal 15 Aprile 2020.
Ad oggi il progetto vanta alcune novità che vedono la luce sulle release 10.x ed 11.x e che sono poi state implementate anche sulle altre release attive e supportate, quali: Tropea, Cagliari, Urbino e Portofino.
Come ogni anno, è fondamentale per il team non solo celebrare ogni traguardo, più o meno significativo, ma anche porsi obiettivi a medio e lungo termine, per assicurare ai nostri utenti: semplicità di utilizzo, tranquillità e il miglior supporto che è possibile dare loro, poichè vivendo in una realtà sempre più frenetica, i nostri utenti devono poter sapere che installando una delle nostre release non avranno mai sorprese spiacevoli.
Questo, il primo obiettivo del progetto Ufficio Zero Linux OS.
Ringraziamo quindi il nostro team: Julian Del Vecchio, Riccardo Leguti ed Adriano Morselli, i nostri partner e tutti coloro che nel loro piccolo contribuiscono ed hanno contribuito a dare vita, cambiamento dopo cambiamento, al progetto.

Every year the team remembers the various birthdays of the project for a sort of memory of how and where they started to remember how many improvements, small and large, have occurred since April 15, 2020.
To date, the project boasts some innovations which saw the light of day on the 10.x and 11.x releases and which were then also implemented on the other active and supported releases, such as: Tropea, Cagliari, Urbino and Portofino.
Like every year, it is essential for the team not only to celebrate each milestone, more or less significant, but also to set medium and long-term objectives, to ensure our users: ease of use, peace of mind and the best support that it is possible to give them , because living in an increasingly frenetic reality, our users must be able to know that by installing one of our releases they will never have unpleasant surprises.
This is the first objective of the Ufficio Zero Linux OS project.
We therefore thank our team: Julian Del Vecchio, Riccardo Leguti and Adriano Morselli, our partners and all those who in their small way contribute and have contributed to giving life, change after change, to the project.

Julian Del Vecchio al Merge 2025
Ufficio Zero Linux OS sarà presente al Merge 2025 il 21 Giugno in Via Lungadige Galtarossa 21 per presentare in anteprima alcune slide della nostra Educational.
La presentazione sarà affidata al nostro patron, Julian Del Vecchio, che coadiuvato da Lorenzo DM, elencherà i punti di forza ed alcune caratteristiche della release che uscirà a fine Giugno.
Eccone alcuni:
- leggerezza e stabilità per la scelta del DM Xfce;
- tool per il cambio dei dns con alcuni proposti quali OpenDNS, DNS0 ecc.;
- ProtonVPN preinstallato;
- servizi e social del fediverso Devol preinstallati;
- Eduinstall & Eduflatpak per l'installazione di software suddiviso per categoria in base al grado di istruzione;
- sarà possibile proporre l'aggiunta di nuovi software direttamente tramite il forum;
- aggiornamenti di sistema automatici;
Queste, alcune delle caratteristiche. Si tratta della prima release promossa dall'associazione Boost Media APS, creata con l'obiettivo di diffondere Ufficio Zero Linux OS su larga scala, ma non solo.
Il talk si terrà alle ore 11.30 circa e Julian sarà disponibile tutta la giornata.

La release 10 terminerà il supporto a Luglio 2024
La release 10 sta raggiungendo la fine del supporto a Luglio 2024, sebbene riceverà aggiornamenti di sicurezza per tutto il 2025.
A fronte di questo, stiamo già lavorando sulla release 10Plus che assicurerà l'estensione del supporto fino al 2027.
Appena avremo terminato di sviluppare la 10Plus, gli utenti che hanno installato la release 10 (32/64 bit) sui loro pc potranno utilizzare il tool di upgrade seguendo una piccola procedura che renderemo disponibile su YouTube & Odysee, in modo tale da avere altri 3 anni di aggiornamenti, seguendo alcuni semplici passaggi.
Release 10 will reach the end of support in July 2024, although security updates will ensure support until 2025.
In Light of this, we are already working on the 10Plus release which will ensure support extension until 2027.
Once we have finished developing 10Plus, users who have installed release 10 (32/64 bit) on their pcs will be able to use the upgrade tool by following a small procedure that we will make available on YouTube & Odysee, so that they will be able to take advantage of another 3 years of updates, following a few simple steps.
