Una buona notizia per i nostri utenti più smaliziati ed appassionati al tema della sicurezza: da oggi potete utilizzare i prodotti iShield Key Pro & Key Fido2 del produttore SwissBit, azienda tedesca leader nella sicurezza, su tutte le nostre release a 64bit.

Abbiamo integrato sui nostri mirror il tool ishield-key-manager che vi darà la possibilità di configurare i vostri dispositivi e quindi evitare di utilizzare ancora le vostre password, anche per l'accesso al vostro sistema operativo Ufficio Zero Linux OS.

Good news for our most savvy and security-focused users: from today you can use the iShield Key Pro & Key Fido2 products from SwissBit, a leading German security company, on all our 64-bit releases.

We have integrated the ishield-key-manager tool on our mirrors, which will give you the ability to configure your devices and therefore avoid using your passwords again, even to access your Ufficio Zero Linux OS operating system.

Spesso sentiamo parlare di sicurezza, di profilazione dati, di anonimato in rete ma anche di restrizioni che alcuni governi pongono alla libertà.

In questo ambito, oltre ad aver introdotto da diverso tempo browser come Brave, LibreWolf o software per i più comuni dispositivi Fido2, oggi annunciamo l'introduzione del client Proton VPN sui nostri mirror.

Come installarlo? Vi basterà aprire il Postinstall e recarvi nella sezione Security da cui selezionare ed installare il pacchetto proton-vpn-gtk-app e le dipendenze degli altri pacchetti proton, disponibili sui mirror, verranno soddisfatte senza problemi di sorta. In alternativa anche da Synaptic o da altri Software Manager è possibile installare il client proton.

Ad installazione avvenuta cercate il client proton nel menu principale, anche digitando nel campo di ricerca veloce ed avviandolo vi apparirà una schermata di registrazione gratuita al servizio proton.

Da quel momento potete utilizzare il client vpn per una vostra maggiore sicurezza.

In this area, in addition to having introduced browsers such as Brave, LibreWolf or software for the most common Fido2 devices for some time now, today we announce the introduction of the Proton VPN client on our mirrors.

How to install it? Once installed, search for the proton client in the main menu, even by typing in the quick search field and starting it, a free registration screen for the proton service will appear.

From that moment on, you can use the vpn client for your greater security.

Gli utilizzatori della versione 10 Basic (32/64 bit) sanno che entro pochi giorni terminerà il supporto al loro sistema seppur gli aggiornamenti di sicurezza sono garantiti fino a Dicembre 2025.

Proprio a tal proposito, stiamo lavorando alla release 10 Plus ma chi usa già la versione 10 Basic può effettuare l'upgrade alla 10 Plus, sempre dopo aver effettuato una copia di backup dei dati personali.
