Yandex si aggiunge alla lista dei nostri mirror

Gli amanti della privacy potranno utilizzare da oggi i servizi KSuite (KMail, KMeet, KDrive, SwissTransfer ecc.) di Infomaniak, Software House Svizzera che osserva le policy GDPR del Regolamento UE 2016/679.

I loro servizi possono essere usati in alternativa a quelli Google e possono essere installati mediante il Postinstall dalla Categoria Office.

Tale implementazione sarà disponibile da subito sulle release 10.x ed 11.x mentre sulle restanti verrà implementata nei prossimi giorni.

Privacy lovers will be able to use the KSuite services (KMail, KMeet, KDrive, SwissTransfer etc.) from Infomaniak, a Swiss Software House that observes the GDPR policies of EU Regulation 2016/679, from today.

Their services can be used as an alternative to Google's and can be installed via Postinstall from the Office Category.

This implementation will be available immediately on releases 10.x and 11.x while on the remaining releases it will be implemented in the next few days.

Abbiamo quindi deciso di rinnovare i repository di nostra proprietà, migliorandone il funzionamento e la sicurezza, adottando quindi la cifratura con https.

Quali versioni sono interessate da questa implementazione?

Attualmente i nostri repository remoti servono le sole versioni: Roma, Vieste, Tropea e Siena per cui, su tutte le versioni citate, abbiamo rilasciato alcuni pacchetti che apporteranno delle modifiche sui vostri sistemi per l'utilizzo dei repository con connessioni per via https e non più http (che sebbene resterà attiva non verrà più utilizzata).

Tenete aggiornato il vostro sistema ed applicate le modifiche selezionando l'opzione "Sostituisci" quando richiesto dal sistema. Il vostro intervento si riduce a quest'azione.

Ottime notizie per gli studenti e le scuole italiane: da oggi installando una delle release a 64bit tra la 10 Plus o la 11.1 potete usufruire di nuovi software ad uso scolastico tramite il nostro Postinstall.

Vi basterà aprire il Postinstall, andare nella macrocategoria School ed installare i software proposti con un semplice click.

Cosa offriamo alle scuole italiane?

Ricordiamo che le singole utenze sono gratuite ma le scuole possono acquistare dei pacchetti per i docenti ed inoltre Infomaniak offre la possibilità agli studenti di richiedere gratuitamente l'hosting web da 250gb di spazio e la Ksuite gratuita fino a 10 utenti. Avete quindi la possibilità di sostituire la suite Google con una rispettosa della vostra privacy.

Ufficio Zero Linux OS contrasta da sempre l'obsolescenza hardware programmata, per cui se avete delle postazioni dotate di un sistema proprietario con licenza non originale, vi chiediamo di fare il salto a Linux e scegliere una delle nostre release tra la 10 Plus che ha un aspetto simile a Windows 10 o la 11.1 che ha un aspetto simile a Windows 11.

I nostri sistemi hanno il file autoinstallabile chiamato installWine per poter installare il tool WineHQ ed utilizzare anche software che funzionano su sistemi operativi proprietari Windows.

Non utilizzate software piratato poichè potreste essere esposti a falle di sicurezza.
