Siamo felici di avere sempre più conferme della bontà del nostro progetto e di aver trovato un nuovo amico che ha egregiamente recensito Ufficio Zero Linux OS e la sua release 11.1 a 64bit con DM Cinnamon.
Tali conferme ci spingono ad offrire un prodotto gratuito, sempre migliore, grazie anche alle segnalazioni che ci pervengono sul forum, sul quale è possibile registrarsi.

Ufficio Zero Linux OS 10 Basic overview
La release 10 Basic, disponibile a 32/64 bit, rappresenta la soluzione migliore per i nuovi utenti che vogliono utilizzare un ambiente desktop familiare, per l'aspetto grafico in stile windows.
Proprio a chi proviene dal sistema proprietario windows è destinata questa nostra versione.
Di seguito un breve video tutorial effettuato utilizzando la versione 10 Basic a 32bit su cui è stato installato Winehq (per installare software compatibili windows a 32bit) e il noto programma di grafica Gimp.
Inoltre abbiamo utilizzato il nostro Postinstall, utile per utilizzare software proposto e manutenuto mediante i nostri repository.
The 10 Basic release, available in 32/64 bit, represents the best solution for new users who want to use a familiar desktop environment, for the windows-style graphic appearance.
This version is intended for those coming from the proprietary windows system.
Below is a short video tutorial made using the 32bit 10 Basic version on which Winehq was installed (to install 32bit windows compatible software) and the well-known graphics program Gimp.
We also used our Postinstall, useful for using software proposed and maintained through our repositories.

Cambiare l'interfaccia di LibreOffice Writer in stile Office
Abbiamo rilasciato un pacchetto di transizione visiva per le release 10 Plus, 11 e per la nuova Lorena che vedrà la luce molto presto per modificare l'aspetto di Libre Office Writer in stile Office.
Questo, un altro piccolo passaggio fondamentale per chi volesse usare le nostre release per la transizione da sistemi operativi proprietari ai nostri Open Source.
Se interessati, vi basterà installare il pacchetto mediante Synaptic ricercandolo con il nome lo-theme-ms o in alternativa tramite terminale con i comandi di seguito:
sudo nala install lo-theme-ms oppure sudo apt-get install lo-theme-ms
che installerà l'installer lothemems che dovrà essere eseguita ed all'avvio di LibreOffice Writer potrete godere di un'esperienza visiva simile a Word.
Il pacchetto quindi è opzionale e può essere liberamente installato dai nostri utenti che hanno più familiarità con Word.
We have released a visual transition package for the 10 Plus, 11 and the new Lorena releases that will be released very soon to change the look of Libre Office Writer in Office style.
This is another small fundamental step for those who want to use our releases for the transition from proprietary operating systems to our Open Source.
If interested, you can simply install the package via Synaptic by searching for it with the name lo-theme-ms or alternatively via terminal with the following commands:
sudo nala install lo-theme-ms or sudo apt-get install lo-theme-ms
which will install the lothemems installer which will need to be run and when you start LibreOffice Writer you will be able to enjoy a visual experience similar to Word.
The package is therefore optional and can be freely installed by our users who are more familiar with Word.

Lorenzo DM presente al Merge 2025
Lorenzo De Marco, alias Lorenzo DM, noto divulgatore del software libero ed open source, sarà presente al Merge 2025 a Verona, il 21 Giugno, in Via Lungadige Galtarossa 21, per presentare l'Associazione di Promozione Sociale Boost Media APS.
Un talk utile, il suo, per mostrare che l'associazione è nata con lo scopo di:
- promuovere e sostenere il progetto Ufficio Zero Linux OS;
- promuovere e sponsorizzare progetti open source italiani ed europei sulle release Ufficio Zero;
- ridurre lo smaltimento di vecchio hardware, obsoleto per i nuovi sistemi operativi;
- promuovere Ufficio Zero EDU nelle scuole italiane;
- promuovere l'open source anche nella PA e nelle imprese;
Il talk si terrà alle ore 12.30 circa ma sarà disponibile tutta la giornata.
